TEACHING

As an educator, I have over fifteen years of experience teaching musical theatre performance, mostly at the college level.  I am available for short-term teaching residencies and musical theatre productions.

COACHING

I offer private vocal coaching and musical theatre audition preparation, working with vocalists at all skill levels, from professional opera singers to actors who want to learn the basics of vocal technique and audition etiquette.  I will help determine what types of songs to add to your book, and provide guidelines of where to look for new material.  I also have an extensive musical theatre library.

I will help you devise effective 16- and 32-bar cuts and show you how to organize an impressive book.  I will help guide and shape your performance through vocal technique, musicality, and finding the acting beats in the song.  My method of marrying vocal and acting choices leads to a sophisticated and detailed presentation of audition or callback material.  After studying with me, you'll have all the tools you need to confidently audition for professional musical theatre.

RATES:  $100 per hour for individual vocal coaching and/or accompaniment.  Zelle or Venmo.  Group class rates to be negotiated.

LOCATION:  Lessons take place via Zoom, unless we happen to be in the same city.
